The Len Umanoff Scholarship is an annual educational scholarship awarded by the FPA to deserving and qualified graduating high school seniors or students currently attending college. Previous recipients and applicants of the scholarship may reapply for the scholarship award each year.
The Scholarship is awarded each November at the FPA Seminar. The deadline for awards is May 05 of each year. Completed applications must be mailed to the Scholarship Chairperson prior to the deadline. The Chairperson is listed on our web site under About > FPA Committees at: www.floridapolygraph.org.
The application form can be found below. Please note that the online form is in PDF format, which requires a freely available viewer. You can get it at this web address: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
A copy of the form can also be obtained from the Scholarship Chairperson or any Board Member. This scholarship is funded entirely by the generosity of the members. No money comes from the FPA Operating Account.
A raffle is held at our annual seminar to help raise money for the scholarships. The Scholarship Chairperson is requests that any member wishing to donate toward the raffle bring an item to the annual seminar that can be used as a prize in the raffle. All those considering donating an item please contact your FPA Scholarship Chairperson. As always, you can contact any FPA Officer or Board Member for any questions or assistance.
PLEASE continue your generosity as this wonderful endeavor has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarship funding to many deserving relatives of FPA members.
