Herbert D.Metzgar professional polygraph services and his associates (Jorge Fernandez--bi-lingual; and Dana Conley) have been regularly administering statewide Pre and Post Conviction sex offender testing in the private sector since 2003. In that time frame, they have also administered statewide confidential polygraph testing for attorneys, for private business and they have occasionally involved themselves in domestic related testing. Polygraph has never been a part time venture for Mr. Metzgar. From 1982 to 2003, he was a full time Polygraph examiner detective with the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Department in Tampa, FL. Mr. Metzger has administered thousands of polygraph tests; a large number of which have been criminal specific issue tests. In the majority of those cases, the results of the polygraph and subsequent interviews has aided in the clearance of numerous major criminal cases in the community. Mr. Metzgar is recognized as an expert witness in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa, FL. Because of his commitment to and his interest in polygraph, Mr. Metzgar is a strong advocate of continued education hours and he and his associates annually attend polygraph training hours. All examiners are members in good standing with the Florida Polygraph Association and the American Polygraph association. All examinations are conducted using, state-of-the-art Lafayette computerized systems and are evaluated by criteria based on numerous scientific laboratory and field studies using standard statistical methods developed and validated by the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute. All polygraph testing is confidential and results can only be shared with the examinee and or other designated persons.
